The Oakmont Country Club
Founded in 1904, the Oakmont Country Club located in Pennsylvania is home to 17 USGA Championships. Known for its challenging layout and fast greens, Oakmont has hosted more U.S. Open's than any other course, with 9 championships to its name. This storied venue has seen many legendary moments, including Johnny Miller's record-breaking 63 in 1973 and Dustin Johnson's triumphant win in 2016. It was announced in 2021 that Oakmont will be the host of future U.S. Open's in 2034, and 2042, along with several other USGA Championships.
