Shinnecock Hills Golf Club
Established in 1891, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club was among the five charter clubs that formed the USGA, cementing its legacy in American golf history. Shinnecock hosted the second-ever U.S. Open in 1896 and has remained a fixture in championship golf ever since. The course was masterfully redesigned by William Flynn in 1931, blending its historic roots with a layout that challenges today’s elite players. Stretching over 7,400 yards, it features wide, wind-swept fairways, rolling greens, and punishing rough shaped by the natural contours of Long Island’s South Fork.
