Pinehurst Resort & C.C.
Designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1907, Pinehurst Resort & Country Club's Course No. 2 is widely regarded as his masterpiece. The course was restored to his original vision in 2011 by architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Famous for its domed “turtleback” greens and sandy wiregrass areas, the course is designated as an anchor site for the U.S. Open, having hosted more single golf championships than any other venue in America.
